Best Way To Propagate Snake Plant/Sansevieria Leaf Cuttings in Water


Snake plant (sansevieria/Mother of Tongue) propagation by leaf cuttings Water method is a popular and simple way in getting many new snake plant babies from Single Leaf. Snake plant propagation by leave cuttings is very easy. Here are what we need to do in this process:



1. Take Snake plant Leaf
2. Pruning shears/ knife (you will see in this video which cutting shape grow faster)
3. Container/Glass or bottle cutting you can tale
4. Water (as growth medium)

And These are the steps of doing Snake Plant/Sansevieria propagation by leaf cuttings:
1. Make leaf cuttings of the snake plant by 3-5 inches in V shape (for fast growing).
2. Plant them in the growth medium.
3. Place the Container in the shaded area, don't put it under the direct sun, Keep Leaves clean and change water twice in a week.
4. A month later the roots will start appearing as you can see in the video as well.
5. Keep it in the shaded area until the leaves appear, repot to sand and grow well.
6. Snake plant pups will start coming 1-2 months later.
